Hillsboro Police Report

These incidents have been reported by the HPD.

May 7

Charles Edison, 43, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

Christopher Owens, 38, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

Owen Stevens, 40, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

Luke Evans, 44, of Hillsboro was cited for driving while texting.

On May 7 at 11:54 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call of a 2-car crash in the area of East Main Street and South High St. Upon arrival, Zander Campbell, 21, of Chillicothe turned eastbound onto East Main Street from South High Street. Robert Bierly, 60, of Hillsboro was turning onto East Main Street from North High Street. Campbell failed to yield to Bierly at the red light causing Bierly to strike Campbell. No injuries were reported on scene. Campbell was cited for fail to obey traffic devices.
