Arrests/Citations for February 25

Chelse Lyons, 38, of Washington CH was arrested for failure to appear on a bench warrant.

Lacey Straight, 36, of Hillsboro was arrested for failure to appear on a bench warrant.

On Feb. 25, the Hillsboro Police Department responded to following crashes.

At 3:55 a 2-car non-injury crash was reported in the 300 block of N. High Street. Andrew Grogan of Youngsville, La. and Keith Ritchie of Lynchburg were traveling northbound in the 300 block of N. High Street. Ritchie slowed down and came to a stop in traffic. Grogan did not get stopped and hit the rear of Ritchie’s vehicle. Andrew Grogan, 48, of Youngsville, La. was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

At 4:14 pm a 3-car crash was reported at N. West and Fenner. Thomas Eichinger of Hillsboro and Aiden Poore of Greenfield were traveling southbound on N. West Street (SR 73) at the traffic signal at Fenner Avenue, barely moving due to stopped traffic ahead. Lindsey Hawkins of Greenfield collided with the rear of Eichinger’s vehicle, causing it to push into the rear of Poore. No injures were reported. Lindsey Hawkins, 25, of Greenfield was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
