Hillsboro Police Report

These incidents have been reported by the HPD.

January 8

Jennifer Roush, 45, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Skylar Lyons, 23, of Wilmington was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

On Jan. 7 at approximately 7:13 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to a report of a two-car crash on North West Street just north of Springlake Avenue. 

Upon arrival, Christian Roberts, 34, of Dayton and Krista Bennington, 47, of Hillsboro were both traveling northbound on N. West St. Bennington was stopped to make a left-hand turn when Roberts struck Bennington in a rear-end type collision. Injuries were reported on scene. Roberts was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
