Hillsboro Police Report

December 29

Kelly Boone, 38, of Hillsboro was cited for driving under suspension.

On Dec. 29 at approximately 5:02 p.m., an officer with the Hillsboro Police Department was conducting a business walk through in the 500 block of Harry Sauner Road when he observed a male known for shoplifting. The male was observed through video footage attempting to leave the business with concealed items that were not paid for. 

The officer stopped and detained the male who was identified as Shane Rhoads, 39, of Portsmouth. Rhoads was arrested for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.
