Hillsboro Police Report
These incidents have been reported by the HPD.
Sept. 28
On Sept. 24 at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers with the Hillsboro Police Department responded to a call of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Meadow Lane. After further investigation, Kerstin Walker, 29, of Hillsboro was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.
On Sept. 26 at 9:19 am., the Hillsboro Police Department took a report of a male being threatened by a female identified as Kerstin Walker, 29, of Hillsboro. It was found that Walker had sent numerous text messages indicating she would use a vehicle to strike the complainant among other threats of violence. Walker was later located and arrested for aggravated menacing and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.
Sept. 29
Noah Young Jr., 86, of Hillsboro was cited for a code enforcement violation.
On Sept. 29 at approximately 3:46 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to South High Street at the intersection of South Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Zeta Boyer, 25, of Hillsboro was traveling northbound on S. High St. near South St. Dion Barber, 54, of Hillsboro and Lauren Freeman, 48, of Hillsboro were both stationary in traffic in front of Boyer. Boyer failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead causing her to strike Barber on the rear bumper which led to Barber striking Freeman on the rear bumper. Injuries were reported on scene. Boyer was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
