Hillsboro Police Report

These incidents have been reported by the HPD.

Sept. 26

Terry Lohmeyer, 47, of Hillsboro was cited for disorderly conduct.

Jayne Rhoads, 45, of New Vienna was cited for speed.

Sept. 27

Logan Mason, 23, of Hillsboro was cited for driving under suspension. 

Tennille Salyer, 48, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

On Sept. 26 at midnight, the Hillsboro Police Department responded to a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Nicholas Brock, 18, of Wilmington was traveling westbound on West Main Street approaching the traffic light at West Street. 

Donald Routt, 44, of Hillsboro was traveling southbound on North West Street and failed to obey the traffic control device, causing him to strike Brock’s vehicle on the rear driver’s side. No injuries were reported on scene. Routt was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. 

On Sept. 26 at 5:51 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call of a two-car crash in the 100 block of Greystone Drive. Upon arrival, Terry Scott, 54, of Hillsboro was backing out of a private drive as Anthony Burns, 55, of Leesburg was backing down the roadway. Scott failed to see Burns while exiting the private drive causing him to back in to Burns. No injuries were reported on scene. Scott was cited for improper backing.
