Hillsboro Police Report

On Nov. 5, Rita O'Cull of Hillsboro, driving a 1998 Chevrolet, was traveling north on North High Street and ran a red light and struck a 1995 Ford that was going through the green light on Beech Street. O'Cull struck a vehicle that was being driven by Barbara Johnson of Hillsboro. O'Cull was cited for a red light violation.

Steve Thompson reported his business garage on East Main Street had been broken into and a leaf blower and chain saw had been taken. There was also damage to the door that had been forced.

On Nov. 7, the Hillsboro Walmart reported they had a male and female in the store that were shoplifting. Elizabeth Short of Middletown was arrested for theft and warrant, and Christopher Brooks of Middletown was arrested for theft.

Dusty Oates of Hillsboro was arrested for criminal damaging, obstruction of official business, attempted theft, and theft.
