Hillsboro Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Feb. 17 on application for variance (26-V-01) for 237 East Main St.

The Hillsboro Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at 130 North High Street (City Hall, Second Floor) Hillsboro. The purpose of this hearing is to hear public comment on an application for variance (26-V-01) for 237 East Main St., Hillsboro (parcel number: 25-44-001-212.00). 

The variance is based on a denied site plan due to City Ordinance 155.073(D) stating cemeteries, crematories, and public mausoleums shall be permitted in the Residence “B” District subject to the crematory and public mausoleums being at least 200 feet from any street line and 300 feet from any adjoining residential district or use that is not used for a similar purpose. 

Written comment should be submitted prior to the public hearing to Planning Commission c/o Megan Blackburn, Clerk at 130 N. High St., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or mblackburn@hillsboroohio.net.
