Hillsboro man charged with felonious assault; 7 others indicted in June grand jury session
A Hillsboro man charged with felonious assault was among the eight individuals indicted by a Highland County grand jury during their Tuesday, June 2 session.
Gary D. Craft, 65, was charged with one count each of felonious assault, a second-degree felony, and assault by a caretaker, a fourth-degree felony.
It is alleged that on or about May 11, Craft “did knowingly cause serious physical harm” to a victim. On the same date, Craft is accused of “knowingly causing or attempting to cause physical harm” to a victim “with a functional impairment.”
In other indictments:
• Tyler James Hundley, 19, of Felicity was charged with two counts of improperly furnishing firearms to a minor, both fifth-degree felonies. Both offenses are alleged to have occurred April 7, with Hundley accused of selling a firearm “to a person under 18 years of age” and “to a person under 21 years of age.”
• Jason L. Huffer, 40, of Greenfield was charged with one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
• In addition, the following individuals were each indicted on one count of aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony:
— James A. Davis, 51, of Hillsboro;
— Anthony R. Didonato, 48, of Mount Orab;
— Tad R. Mills, 37, of Hillsboro;
— William D. Morris, 51, of Hillsboro; and
— Corey A. Willey, 34, of Hillsboro.
An indictment is merely a charge and is not evidence of guilt.
