Hillsboro man arrested on burglary charge

A 27-year-old Hillsboro man has been arrested after a report of a burglary at 2:43 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19.

The Hillsboro Police Department reported that Adam Denner of Hillsboro, a registered sex offender, forced his way into a Hillsboro residence and assaulted a woman in the home.

He fled the North West Street residence and was apprehended by deputies from the Highland County Sheriff's Office.

Denner is charged with aggravated burglary and retaliation.

He is jailed at the Highland County Justice Center, pending arraignment in Municipal Court.[[In-content Ad]]
