In recognition and thanks for the Hillsboro Lions Club's 65 years of outstanding community service, commissioners proclaimed April 2, 2011 as Hillsboro Lions Club Day.

During their 65 years of community service, the Hillsboro Lions Club has raised more than $600,000 and returned more than $400,000 to the local community, with the remainder going toward Lions' state and international causes.[[In-content Ad]]
