Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church to host 17th annual Sportsman's Night Out

Sportsmen across the Midwest will be flocking to Hlilsboro this month, as the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church gears up for their popular annual Sportsman's Night Out event.
The Bible Baptist Church will host the 17th annual Sportsman's Night Out on Saturday, Jan. 31. The entire event is free and open to the public.
"This outreach event is designed to bring hunters and fishermen together to celebrate the outdoors and share our love for the Lord," according to a letter from the church.
Sportsmen are invited to bring their most prized wildlife mount for display, and those who bring a mount to display will be entered into a prize drawing.
Sportsmen can get their deer officially scored from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Outdoor clinics will begin at 2 p.m. and will take place until 5:30. The evening session will begin at 6 p.m. with special guest speaker Gordon Whittington, editor-in-chief of North American Whitetail Magazine.
Wild game and non-game refreshments will be served from 2-5 p.m. for a $3 donation.

This year's door prizes will include a Canada fishing trip, a Matthews bow and an Extreme Bowfishing trip, plus many more.
Sportsmen are welcome to stop in anytime throughout the day to check out the clinics and displays.
Over 1,300 people attended the 2014 event, with sportsmen traveling across Ohio and from Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky to the annual showcase.
According to the church, over 150 whitetail deer, elk, bear and fish were displayed last year, with nearly 75 animals officially scored.
