Highland County Sheriff's Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

A resident of the 5500 block of New Vienna Road reported a vehicle had left the roadway striking a parked vehicle before leaving the scene. This incident remains under investigation.

A deputy responded to the 2800 block of U.S. Route 50 after a report of suspicious activity. After investigation, two males were discovered working on a disabled vehicle.

Deputies responded to the 9800 block of North Shore Drive, Rocky Fork Campgrounds, after a report of a disturbance. After investigation, Pamela S. Faulkner, 48, of Wilmington, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear.
