Aug. 19
A deputy while on a call in the 6600 block of state Route 753 observed a vehicle passing by at a high rate of speed, operating in a reckless manner. The deputy attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle that continued southbound on state Route 753 before the deputy lost sight. A short time later, the deputy was returning northbound on state Route 753 when the vehicle pulled from a driveway, northbound on state Route 753. The deputy performed a traffic stop.
The driver was identified as Michael A. Campanaro Sr., 49, of Hillsboro. Campanaro was charged with possession of drugs, failure to comply, tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
Aug. 20
A deputy responded to the 400 block of Limerick Drive after a report of a domestic dispute. After investigation, it was determined to have been a verbal dispute over personal property. No charges were issued.
