Highland County Sheriff's Report

Dec. 8
 
A deputy responded to the 12000 block of Wilson Road after a report of a mailbox vandalized.

Dec. 9
  
A deputy responded to Frye Road, Clay Twp., after a report of an abandoned vehicle. During the investigation, it was determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen in the city of Sharonville. A suspect who had multiple warrants was reported to have been at a residence on state Route 286 in Brown County. Highland County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team was activated, and with Brown County sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Marshals agents, attempts were made to have the suspect surrender. After a short while, entry was made into the residence and the suspect identified as Justin W. Fladung, 43, of Batavia, was arrested for several outstanding warrants.
