Highland County Sheriff's Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

Sept. 8

A deputy, while on patrol in Madison Township conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Jefferson St. A K9 was deployed to walk around the vehicle and indicated to the presence of narcotics. After additional investigation, the driver identified as David D. Meyers, 62, of Greenfield was cited for no license plate light. Passengers in the vehicle, Christopher R. Billups, 39, of Columbus, and Emberly W. Rickman, 33, of Hillsboro, were each charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 9

A resident of the 7000 block of Haggerty Road reported a domestic disturbance. This incident remains under investigation, charges are pending.

A deputy responded to the 12000 block of Lovers Lane after a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigation, Casey R. Jett, 34, of Greenfield was charged with domestic violence.

Paul S. Cox Jr, 33, of Greenfield, rape, gross sexual imposition.

Robert T. Powell, 37, of Midland, contempt of court.
