Highland County Republican Party appoints Linda Conrad as Hillsboro City Treasurer

The Highland County Republican Party, through its Central Committee members residing in Hillsboro, recently appointed Linda Conrad as Hillsboro City Treasurer, due to the resignation of former treasurer Cristal Kier.
In addition, Conrad was selected to fill the vacancy in the party nomination and accepted the nomination as the Republican candidate for the office of city treasurer in the Nov. 4, 2025 general election.
Conrad has 24 years of banking experience and has received numerous awards for her outstanding performance in several areas of banking. She resides on Oak Hills Drive with her husband, Steve Conrad. They have two children and enjoy spending time with their six grandchildren.
