Highland County man one of two arrested in Winchester drug deal

A Highland County man could be facing charges after being arrested by officers of the Winchester Police Department.

According to a report by The (Maysville) Ledger-Independent's Karen Stein, James Chambers, 28, of Hillsboro and Anthony Caudill, 21, were arrested Jan. 19 after officers discovered a large amount of crystal methamphetamine during an undercover drug buy.

According to the report, Chambers was armed with a loaded .45 caliber handgun and another loaded .38 revolver also was found in the suspects' vehicle.

The suspects were taken to the Adams County Jail while the case is being reviewed by the Adams County prosecutor's office.[[In-content Ad]]
