Highland County Firefighters Association hosts 7th annual Kroger Klassic Car Show

The Highland County Firefighters Association has announced the 7th annual Kroger Klassic Car Show. The show will be held July 31 at the Hobart parking lot in Hillsboro. Registration will begin at noon and will end at 2 p.m. Judging will begin around 2 p.m. Registration is $10 for the show.  Trophies will be given around 4:30 p.m. Door prizes will be given throughout the day. There will also be a 50/50 drawing,  fire trucks and life squads on display. Pokey’s D.J. and Karoke Service will provide the tunes of yester year.  
All proceeds raised from the show will be placed back into the community by providing free training to all county firefighters and also providing free safety materials to citizens at the annual safety day.
The Kroger Klassic is sponsored by, Kroger, NCB Bank, Turner Funeral Homes, O’Rreily Auto Parts, Pokey’s D.J. and Karoke, Dr. Clark Family Dentistry, Accessibilty Lifts of Ohio, Thompson Photography, Kelley Brothers Construction, Higgins, J B & J Towing, Garen “T” Excavating, Mac Printing, TRB, P C Connections, Judge David Mckenna, Armstrong Signs and Graphics, Bill and Jeff at Daniel’s Metal, Everyday Healthcare of Mt. Orab.
   “There are many other businesses and individuals that help us with trophy sponsorship and door prizes. Without all of their support we could not get this thing off. Most have been with us for seven years now and I can’t thank all of them enough,” the association said.
Departments in the Association are: Paint Creek EMS and Fire District, Lynchburg, Leesburg, Hillsboro, Marshall Twp., Brushcreek Twp. Fire and Squad,  Mowrystown, Fayetteville, Bainbridge, and New Vienna, and Peebles Fire Departments.
