Highland County Chamber searching for face of Buy Local campaign

The Highland County Chamber of Commerce is looking for the final face of the new Buy Local campaign for 2015.

Do you know a cute kid who would like to be a part of an advertising campaign that would run from May - November 2015? Now is the time to act. Here's how it will work:

• Submit your child's photo along with name, age, hometown and hobbies to info@thehighlandchamber.com by midnight on Friday, April 24.
• On Monday, April 27, those submitted photos will be posted to the Chamber's Facebook page for one week only, where friends, family and others can "like" the photo to vote for a winner.
• At the end of the week, the picture with the most "likes" will win a spot in the Buy Local Campaign.

Rules: Child entering the contest must be between 3 to 9 years of age as of May 1, 2015 and must be currently residing in Highland County. Pictures must be submitted to info@thehighlandchamber.com by midnight on Friday, April 24 to be eligible. Pictures submitted through other avenues will not be accepted. 

The voting period will be from Monday, April 23 through Sunday, May 3. A winner shall be announced via social media on Monday, May 4. If the winner declines participation or cannot attend the scheduled photo shoot, the runner-up will take their place. The winner agrees to be a part of the Highland County Buy Local campaign from May-November 2015 and have their likeness used in media regarding the promotion including but not limited to print, online and social media marketing. No compensation.
