HDH Professional Services Corporation announces opening of Lynchburg Medical Center

In its commitment to quality health care for the community, Highland District Hospital Professional Services Corporation is proud to announce the opening of the new Lynchburg Medical Center.

The open house ceremony was held on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Community members, contractors and staff, along with Dr. JoBeth Lee, were on hand for the celebration.

New from the ground up, the center offers enhanced treatment facilities along with increased parking and easy access for patients.

“We are proud to provide a high level of service in Lynchburg, and are confident that the new facility will serve the healthcare needs of the community for generations,” states Jim Baer, CEO of HDH.

Dr. JoBeth Lee, a Hillsboro native, is excited to have returned to the area with her husband and two children.

"I am grateful for the warm welcome from the Lynchburg community and Highland District Hospital. I hope to provide excellent care for many families in our beautiful new office.”
