HCCAO, OhioMeansJobs hold grand reopening celebration

Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. held a Grand Reopening
Celebration of the OhioMeansJobs Highland County Office on Friday, April 10.
HCCAO assumed operations of the center on Jan. 1.
The OhioMeansJobs Office is currently open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday and Friday. The center offices a variety of services, including employment workshops, resumé assistance, online job searching and employment activities, local job opening postings, employer services, on the job training placements, listings of in-demand jobs and labor market information, WIA training and education assistance and much more. They also have partners in the office that include youth employment specialist, veteran services, ex-offender assistance, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, Metropolitan Housing and Unemployment. All military veterans receive priority assistance at all OhioMeansJobs locations.
[[In-content Ad]]In conjunction with the Open House celebration, a job fair was held with over 30 local employers participating. Over 300 people participated in the day’s activities.

Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. is a private nonprofit corporation which is governed by a 15-member, all-volunteer Board, which meets monthly.
