Greenfield Nurse Practitioner Debra Wolf to lead Adena’s Advanced Practice Providers

CHILLICOTHE – Adena Health System has named Certified Nurse Practitioner Debra Wolf as its Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for Primary Care. In this newly created position, Wolf will serve as a liaison between Adena’s Primary Care leadership and the Health System’s nurse practitioners in Adena’s Primary Care clinics located throughout seven counties.
“Adena’s nurse practitioners are invaluable in providing Primary Care for our patients,” said Dr. H. Takaji Kittaka, Jr., Adena’s Chief Medical Officer for Primary Care. “Debra’s experience at Adena, and the high level of care she delivers to her patients made her a natural fit for this position that will lead other nurse practitioners. I’m confident Debra will be a strong voice for this growing group of Adena caregivers.”
The position of Lead Advanced Practice Provider was created because of a steady growth of nurse practitioners within Adena’s Primary Care service line. In this role, Debra will ensure these advance practice providers are represented at the same level as Adena’s physicians. The role of the Lead APP will also focus on standardization of processes, communication, training and quality among all of Adena’s family practitioners.
“I look forward to beginning this new position and promoting the role of nurse practitioners in the Health System,” said Wolf. “I hope to be a valued resource for our providers, managers and other nurse practitioners, and hope to help guide policy and procedure development when it comes to nurse practitioners in Primary Care.”
Wolf has been practicing as a CNP with Adena Family Medicine - Greenfield since joining the Health System in 2011. A graduate of Ball State University, Debra will continue to see patients, in addition to her new duties.
