Greenfield celebrates Halloween WATCH THE VIDEO

The annual Greenfield Halloween parade was held Tuesday evening, beginning at Fifth and Jeffereson Streets in Greenfield. Led by the Paint Creek Joint Fire and Ambulance District and the Greenfield Police Department, the parade included community members, and Greenfield Exempted Village Schools students and staff, all in costume.

The parade concluded at the fire station, where Halloween refreshments were served.
 

The event is sponsored by the firefighter's association with the Paint Creek Joint Fire and EMS District. 

 

"It's our way of giving back to the community for all the support they give us," said Chief Bradley George. 

 

George said that more than 1,000 hotdogs were served to the crowd Tuesday, and he estimated that 700-800 children were in attendance. 

 

"It was one of the best nights we've had in a long time," he said.
