Four arrested in Greenfield drug bust

On Friday, Sept. 2 at 9:51 p.m., the Greenfield Police Department executed a search warrant at 706 S. Second St., in Greenfield.

The warrant was obtained after an investigation of drug activity at the residence.  

Members of the Hillsboro/Greenfield Joint Special Response Team made entry to the home and found a large amount of heroin and cocaine inside, along with marijuana and cash.

Officers seized 140 doses of heroin, over 17 grams of crack cocaine, and uncut heroin in rock form along with the other contraband.  

Four individuals in the home were arrested. They are: Christian Tuley, 23, Greenfield; Jesse Pryor II, 22, Greenfield; Richard Buycks, 31, Dayton; and Baretta Byrdsong, 30, Dayton.

Each was charged with possession of heroin (F2), possession of cocaine (F4), and trafficking in drugs (F4).

 They are currently being held in the Greenfield jail and will appear for arraignment in Highland County Court, Greenfield, on Wednesday, Sept. 7.[[In-content Ad]]
