Area firefighters were called to two separate structure fires Thursday evening and Friday morning.

At approximately 7:19 p.m. Thursday, Paint Creek Joint EMS and Fire District was toned out to a trailer fire at the Lighthouse Trailer Park near Rocky Fork Lake.

Marshall and Brushcreek fire departments also responded.

Two trailers were involved as were propane tanks.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., firefighters were called to a structure fire near Berrysville. When firefighters arrived, they found a two-story home fully engulfed in flames.

Multiple departments were called to the 8900 block of West Berrysville Road early Friday morning. Firefighters were still on the scene after 7 a.m.

Paint Creek Fire Chief Bradley George said no injuries were reported at either fire.

"The residents were not home at the Berrysville Road fire," George said.

George was still on the scene of the Rocky Fork Lake fire when he was called to Berrysville Road.

"The residents at one of the trailers had just filled the propane tank and I was monitoring that fire when we got the (Berrysville) call," he said. "Fortunately, no residents or firefighters were injured."

The fires remain under investigation.
