The Caesar Creek Flea Market will be closed for at least this weekend after a fire swept through the Clinton County market.

According to WKRC Local 12, the fire was reported at state Route 73 flea market around 1:20 p.m. Friday.

Crews from fire departments in Clinton and Warren County responded to the scene, and officials say it is unclear how much damage the structures sustained.

According to the Caesar Creek website, they have more than 300 indoor and outdoor vendors on 25 acres, selling a variety of products, including, electronics, produce and antiques.

Some vendors were on site setting up for the weekend when the fire broke out in one of the buildings, according to officials.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known, and the incident remains under investigation.
