Culvert replacement scheduled for S.R. 138

chillicothe –  Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Highland County Highway Maintenance Facility will undertake a culvert replacement project on state Route 138 in Paint Township, forcing a weeklong closure of the route.
Crews will be replacing a deteriorated culvert located near the 24.14-mile marker, between Township Road 300 (Duff Road) and state Route 771. Weather permitting, the route will be closed at 8 a.m. Monday, September 20, and the closure will remain in effect through the end of the business day (or approximately 4 p.m.) Friday, September 24.
While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of U.S. Route 62 at Hillsboro to S.R. 28 at Leesburg to S.R.771; traffic at Greenfield will be detoured via S.R. 28 to U.S. 62.
