Coonrod trial to be moved out of county

It was determined Nov. 5 that the Wesley Coonrod murder trial will be moved out of Highland County.

In October, Coonrod was found guilty to two counts of third-degree felony endangering children. After four days of deliberations, the jury was hung on two charges of murder, with death penalty specifications; aggravated arson, and two counts of murder. Highland County Prosecutor Jim Grandey later filed documents stating the intent to retry Coonrod.
