The Brown County Democrat Dinner is Thursday at the Southern Hills Career and Technical Center which is located at 9193 Hamer Road in Georgetown. Party Chairman Ken McNeely announces that Connie Pillich will be speaking on behalf of Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Pillich is a former Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 28th District (Cincinnati). She was the Democratic candidate for Ohio State Treasurer in 2014.

Connie spent eight years on active duty in the Air Force where she served in support of Operation Desert Storm. She is a three-time recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal earning the rank of Captain.
After serving in the Air Force and receiving her MBA, Connie worked as a public defender and later opened a law practice where she fought for middle class families and communities.
Local candidates will also be speaking. Running for Commissioner are Jim Ferguson and Ralph Jennings, for State Representative Ken McNeely, for State Senate Charlie Carlier and for Coroner Dr. Tim McKinley, and Dr. Janert Everhard, write-in candidate for 2nd District Congress.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15. Dinner is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available at the door.
