Commissioners support 2011 Women's Hall of Fame ceremony

The Highland County Board of Commissioners recognized and supported the 2011 Highland County Women's Hall of Fame induction ceremony during their Wednesday board meeting.

This year's banquet will be held in the atrium at SSCC on Tuesday, Aug. 30.  

Since 1987, the Hall of Fame recognizes gifted and energetic women who contribute to the community, and who serve as inspiration to young people. Many of these women continue to contribute after receiving the Hall of Fame award.

Tickets may be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, Southern Hills Community Bank in Leesburg and Home Building and Loan in Greenfield.[[In-content Ad]]
