Commissioners approve resolutions

The Highland County Board of Commissioners approved the following resolutions at their Oct. 20 meeting:
• The authorization of a modification to the General Fund as follows: from Commissioners, Other, to Maintenance & Operations, Supplies, in the amount of $500.
• The authorization of a modification to the Engineer's budget as follows: from Contracts-Projects to Materials, in the amount of $11,000.
• The authorization of additional appropriation to the General Fund, Commissioners, as follows: from Unappropriated funds to Commissioners Officials, in the amount of $5,458.62, and to Commissioners, Other, in the amount of $379.38. The total additional appropriation is $5,838. The additional funds are from a settlement from Premier Election Solutions on the voting machines. The additional appropriation to Commissioners Officials corrects an accounting error.
• The authorization of a modification to the General Fund as follows: from County Miscellaneous, Transfers, to Auditor Official, in the amount of $1,200.90; to Prosecuting Attorney, Official, in the amount of $2,151.91; to Clerk of Courts Official, in the amount of $888.33; to Sheriff Official, in the amount of $1,230.32; and to Recorder Official, in the amount of $895.28. Total amount of Miscellaneous Transfers is $6,361.74. The modifications correct an accounting error.
• The authorization of a modification to the General Fund as follows: from County Miscellaneous, Attorney-Indigent Fees, to County Miscellaneous, Salary-Indigent-Stenographer, in the amount of $2,500.
• The authorization of a modification to the General Fund as follows: from Commissioners Other to Common Pleas Court, Stenographer, in the amount of $2,600; this modification relates to the State of Ohio vs. Wesley Coonrod trial.
• The authorization of a modification to the General Fund as follows: from Commissioners Other to Airport, Other Expense, in the amount of $525.
• The agreement to rescind Resolution No. 10-325, passed on Oct. 13, 2010, for the Probation Department.
