Hillsboro Mayor Drew Hastings signed a proclamation Monday morning in observance of March 2015 as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.

Support specialist Charles Miller and students and staff of Hills and Dales Training Center and Highco, Inc. visited the mayor’s office to hear the proclamation.

Hastings encouraged citizens of Hillsboro to “support opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities,” including in “housing, employment and recreational activities.”
