Chamber of Commerce holds own ribbon-cutting ceremony

The Highland County Chamber of Commerce (338 West Main Street, Hillsboro) held its own ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 23.
The ribbon-cutting solidified the Chamber's presence in the historic Scott House, where the Chamber moved its offices in August.
The Chamber is thrilled to be functioning at a Highland County landmark. Built in 1835, the Scott House has been kept in fantastic condition and is managed by the Highland County Historical Society.

The ceremony followed a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, with 13 board members in attendance for the ribbon-cutting.
The Highland County Chamber of Commerce is an active advocate for the Highland County business community providing economic development and networking opportunities to advance the local economy and the citizens of Highland County. The Chamber celebrates 25 years of operation in Highland County in 2015. The Chamber invites both Chamber and community members to stop by their new location and see what the Chamber can do for them.
