Cameron, Yochum celebrate retirement at Prudential Chambers-Fite Realty open house
Prudential Chambers-Fite Realty honored longtime employees Pauline Cameron and Jill Yochum at an open house Thursday, celebrating their decades of service as they prepare to retire from the company.
Cameron and Yochum announced their respective retirement from Prudential Chambers-Fite Realty Company earlier this month.
Coworkers, friends, public officials and fellow Realtors were on hand to celebrate Cameron, who is retiring after 31 years, and Yochum, who served the company for 13 years.
Cameron and Yochum each received a plaque “in appreciation of their service and friendship” from coworkers, along with enjoying refreshments and many well wishes from the community throughout the afternoon.

Lowell Chambers describes Cameron as a civic-minded, community-loving person and is proud to have been associated with her all these many years. The Prudential Chambers-Fite office will miss seeing her on a daily basis.
Cameron was licensed as a beautician in 1947 and earned her Real Estate license in 1984. Her long career included 31 years at the Prudential Chambers-Fite company, where she was a top producer in Highland County in 1995.
Chambers states that Yochum has been an integral part of the company for 13 years, as a real estate sales agent and auction coordinator.
"We will all miss her as a valuable associate and friend," he said.
Yochum started in real estate in the Cleveland-Akron area in 1978 and has been a Realtor in Hillsboro since 2002, serving Highland and surrounding counties.
She served as president of the Highland County Board of Realtors (2005, 2007), Board of Directors for seven years and has been active on the state and local levels with legislative concerns for homeowners and buyers.
