Caden Hess sells Reserve Champion Beef Feeder Calf

Caden Hess earned the Reserve Champion Beef Feeder Calf honors at the 2016 Highland County Fair.

The feeder calf weighed 675 pounds and brought $10.96 a pound at the Sept. 9 sale.

Buyers included: Heskett Insurance, Barry's Chevrolet, Donald E. Fender Realtors, Merchants National Bank, First State Bank, Magulac Tire, Farm Credit, Baxla Tractor Sales, Kroger, David and Lesia McKenna, Alex Butler for commissioner, S&K Dairy Cup, Drs. Williams, McConnaughey & Ballard, Tissot Home Center, Feed Mill Restaurant in Felicity, The Highland County Press, Hess Auction Co., Arrick's Propane, and Holbrook Farms.
