U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met with two members of the National Education Association (NEA)’s National Board of Directors and the Ohio Education Association (OEA), Gretchen Washington of Cincinnati and Emily Sterling of West Chester.
“The work of the National and Ohio Education Associations helps hold public education institutions to the highest possible standards to ensure that our students are ready to enter the workforce or seek higher education,” Brown said. “It was an honor to meet Gretchen and Emily, whose advocacy will benefit our youth’s education.”
