The Brown County Sheriff's Office is warning residents that there may be a mountain lion on the loose.
As reported on www.wlwt.com, a woman told deputies that she saw the animal in her open field through binoculars and was positive it was a mountain lion. She stated that it was the size of a small calf.
On Thursday, a 911 caller reported a loud growling noise on Barnes Road near the Rumpke landfill, but deputies found nothing, WLWT reported.
