Bright Local Schools is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with HealthSource to establish a school-based health center located within the Wildcat Learning Center at Whiteoak High School, set to open in the fall of 2026.

This collaboration represents a significant investment in the health, well-being, and success of our students, staff, and community. The new center will provide expanded access to essential healthcare services, helping remove barriers and ensuring that all Wildcats have the support they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

This initiative directly supports our district’s mission of “Every Student, Every Day,” reinforcing our commitment to the whole child academically, socially, and physically. By bringing healthcare services directly to campus, we are creating opportunities for improved attendance, stronger academic performance, and overall student success.

Through this partnership, HealthSource will deliver high-quality, accessible care aligned with their mission of “improving the health of our patients and the communities we serve.” Their commitment to honoring the past while innovating for the future aligns seamlessly with the vision and direction of Bright Local Schools.

The school-based health center will offer services that are truly life-changing for our Wildcats and their families, including preventative care, wellness support, and expanded access to healthcare resources all in a familiar and supportive school environment. Healthcare services will be available Monday-Friday.

“We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and the opportunity it provides our students and community,” said Mr. Jason Iles, Superintendent of Bright Local School District. “This is about more than healthcare, it's about removing barriers and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.”

Bright Local Schools looks forward to the continued collaboration with HealthSource as we work together to support the well-being of our entire Wildcat community. Stay tuned for additional updates for the ribbon cutting ceremony. To learn more about HealthSource, visit healthsoureofohio.org.
