Bob McEwen sworn in as SSCC trustee

At the Nov. 12 meeting of the Southern State Community College Board of Trustees, Fayette County Probate Court Judge David B. Bender presided over the swearing in of Bob McEwen whose appointment fills one of four vacancies on the college’s board.

The remaining trustee positions are filled by Doug Boedeker of Fayette County (chair), Mike Pell of Adams County (vice chair), Michelle Cimis of Highland County, Paul Hall of Brown County, and Donald Moore of Fayette County.

Chosen by Ohio’s governors, the trustees who comprise the SSCC Board of Trustees provide direction and leadership, which allows the college to focus on fulfilling the mission of providing accessible, affordable and high-quality education.
