Board of Realtors introduces officers for 2015

The Highland County Board of Realtors celebrated its annual Christmas board meeting Thursday, Dec. 18 at the Hillsboro Ponderosa Banquet Center.

Brynna Boone was a guest singer for the board, presenting several Christmas classics, including "O Holy Night" and "White Christmas."

President Diane Uhl conducted her final meeting and administered the oaths of office during the installation of 2015 board officers.

The 2015 president of the Board of Realtors is Kim Boyer.

Rusty Fite will serve as vice president. The 2015 treasurer is Robyn Coomer.

Board members include: Brigette Waggoner, Risa Boone, Kelly Kimble, Mike Campbell, Scott Crawford and Steve Elliott.

Uhl thanked the new officers for serving the board and reminded them, "Leadership is not a reward, it is a responsibility."

"In carrying out your duties as president, vice president, and directors, you must at all times remember who you are and what you represent," Uhl said.

Amy Hamilton spoke on behalf of First State Bank, who was a co-sponsor of the December luncheon.

During the meeting, Boyer presented a plaque to Uhl and thanked her for her service as 2014 president.
