Bedard named Habitat for Humanity Executive Director

Highland County Habitat for Humanity is pleased to welcome Sharon Bedard as Executive Director.

Previously, Bedard had been Facilitator for Grow! Highland County.

Bedard said that she is thrilled to have joined Habitat for Humanity.

“It is an honor to be part of this wonderful group of people, Board of Directors and volunteers, joining in their commitment to the Highland County community," Bedard said. "I look forward to helping our community in a new area. Previously, I helped people develop and grow their businesses, now I will be able to help with housing and repair programs, which are such a necessity.”

Highland County Habitat is expanding its services to include a Brush with Kindness program. The Brush with Kindness is a exterior repair project, for existing home owners that may qualify for help.

It is the mission of Highland County Habitat for Humanity to build affordable homes, better lives, stronger families and a safer community through partnerships with people and organizations throughout Highland County.
