Ag is Everyone's Business to include pedal tractor auction

Tickets are still available for the fourth annual "Ag is Everyone's Business" on Friday, Jan. 22, at 8 a.m. at the Patriot Center at Southern State Community College.

Going with past tradition, there will be a pedal tractor auction following the keynote speaker, John Phipps.

This year, three tractors are up for bid. Five Points Implement Co. has donated a John Deere 4020, as did Steve Thompson of Thompson Funeral Services and Sue Davis of Preferred Midwest Title/Davis Law Office. In addition, Bane-Welker Equipment, formerly The Equipment Superstore, has donated a Case IH 340 Magnum.

Proceeds from the Five Points Implement Co. John Deere 4020 will benefit Highland County 4-H, while proceeds from the Thompson/Davis John Deere 4020 and the Bane-Welker Case IH 340 Magnum will benefit the Highland County FFA chapters.
