Adena Welcomes Colorectal Surgeon

CHILLICOTHE - Adena welcomes to its Medical Staff and Adena Surgical the services of colon and rectal surgeon Michael H. Fealk, DO.

Dr. Fealk arrives to Adena Health System from New Mexico Colon and Rectal Surgery Associates.  He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo., and completed a residency in general surgery at St. Elizabeth Health Center and Maricopa Medical Center, and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Lehigh Valley Hospital.   Prior to his medical training, Dr. Fealk practiced as an Attorney.  He received his Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University.

Dr. Fealk is Board Certified in General Surgery by the American College of Surgeons and in Colorectal Surgery by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.  He specializes in benign and malignant disease of the colon, rectum, and anus and performs screening and diagnostic colonoscopy.  He sees patients at Adena Surgical in Chillicothe with a referral from a primary care physician.
