Adena Health System is pleased to announce that General Surgeon Dr. Christin Spahn is expanding her practice and will begin seeing patients at the Adena Health Center in Washington Court House starting April 15. She will continue to see patients at Adena Surgical, located within Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
“This is an opportunity to offer more convenient service to our patients living in or near Washington Court House,” Dr. Spahn said. “I look forward to building new relationships and helping patients and their families with their general surgery needs.”
Dr. Spahn will see patients at the Adena Family Medicine clinic, located at 308 Highland Avenue, Suite C, Washington Court House. Appointments will be available on the first and third Fridays of each month from 8:30–11:30 a.m.
As a general surgeon, Dr. Spahn provides services in the following:
• Breast Surgery;
• Skin Cancer/Melanoma;
• Sentinel Node Biopsy;
• Thyroid/Parathyroid Surgery;
• Tracheostomy/Peg;
• Laparoscopic Ventral Hernia/Groin Hernia Repair;
• EGD/Colonoscopy;
• Laparoscopic/Open Stomach, Small Bowel, Colon Surgery;
• Laparoscopic/Open Cholecystectomy;
• Port Placement/Venous Access; and
• Laparoscopic/Open Appendectomy.
Dr. Spahn joined Adena Surgical in January 2014. She earned her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and completed her residency at Akron City Hospital.
