Press Release-
To meet the growing need for care throughout south central and southern Ohio, Adena Health System opens a new health center in Hillsboro Monday. The nearly 8,500 square-foot facility offers patients access to a certified nurse practitioner for their primary care needs.

The new clinic is among a series of expansion projects that are delivering people throughout the region with access to quality healthcare within their hometowns. Earlier this year, Adena relocated its Circleville Health Center to a larger facility, providing greater access to primary and specialty care in that Pickaway County community. Additionally, the Health System opened a primary care clinic in Wellston (Jackson County) in December 2015.

“There are more than 500,000 people living in Adena’s 12-county service region,” Adena President and CEO Mark Shuter said. “By expanding our regional services, which now includes a new, primary care clinic in Hillsboro, Adena is striving to meet the health care needs of people living throughout the area. The Health System’s continued growth not only gives patients better access to care, it also strengthens Adena’s commitment to building healthy and thriving communities.”
