AAARC Scholarship recipients recognized

The 2026 African American Awareness Research Council AAARC Scholarship recipients were recognized at the 2026 Black History Month program held at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene Saturday, Feb. 21.

The AAARC would like to thank all the donors who made these scholarships possible and the church for allowing the use of their building. 

Sigrid Solomon, Vice President/Chief Student Affairs Officer & Dean of Students of Wilmington College, was this year's honoree.
