3 Kentucky men arrested in connection with Brown County shooting
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office recently announced three arrests in connection with an alleged shooting in the Aberdeen area.
On Feb. 10 at approximately 6:52 a.m., the Brown County Communications Center received a call advising that a male subject had been shot on Hickory Street in Aberdeen. The response by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the proceeding investigation determined that the victim had been shot in the chest by an unknown male.
On April 2, deputies from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Mason County, Ky. Sheriff’s Office and the Maysville (Ky.) Police Department arrested Michael Fite, 56, and Jerry Cooper, 47, both from Dover, Ky., in connection with the shooting.
On April 3, deputies with assistance from Mason County (Ky.) Sheriff’s Office and the Maysville (Ky.) Police Department arrested George Kendall, 62, from the Maysville, Ky. area on additional charges.
All three suspects have been charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit attempted murder, both a felony of the first degree.
