16-year-old bicyclist injured in hit/skip crash

FAYETTEVILLE –The Georgetown Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a "hit-skip" crash Tuesday morning that left a juvenile bicyclist with serious injuries.
The crash occurred on March 20 at approximately 6:15 a.m. on state Route 131 west of US 50, Perry Township, Brown County.
A Schwinn Bicycle, operated by, Isacc Shelton, 16, of Fayetteville, was traveling eastbound on State Route 131. While eastbound, Shelton was struck from the rear by an unknown vehicle, which continued eastbound on state Route 131.
Shelton was transported by Air Care to University of Cincinnati Hospital for treatment.
The Georgetown Post is looking for anyone with information which may lead to the apprehension of the striking/fleeing vehicle. The vehicle in question should be displaying damage to the front passengers’ side corner.
