Michael Ray Dennis

Michael Ray Dennis, 69, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.
 
He was born Jan. 10, 1954 in Hillsboro, the son of Ray and Francine (Shaw) Dennis.
 
He was a 1972 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and was a cheerful man who enjoyed playing harmonica and guitar.
 
He was the former owner/operator of Dennis Jewelers in Greenfield.
 
He is survived by two daughters, Tobi Cox of Chillicothe and Heidi (Heath) Colburn of Kingston; three grandchildren, Payton Beechler of Toledo, Halyn Colburn of Kingston and Hadley Colburn of Kingston; one nephew, Chase Dennis (Christina Palmer) of Greenfield; and special friend, Bevalee Jo Howland of Hillsboro.
 
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Hanson and Patrick Dennis; one nephew, Bart Hanson; and both parents.
 
Cremation will take place, and there will not be a service observed.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
